Many of you know I am a nurse. A grad nurse to be more specific. I work on the Labor and Delivery unit at BJC. Many of you don't know I am also a personal trainer. I love to live healthy and happy. You may think being in the healthcare profession we all live these amazingly healthy lives! This is NOT the case! I think 70% of my body is now diet coke and not water. Caffeine and sweets run the unit and honestly it's what motivates us. So whatever happened to having a good workout be a motivator? Well I'm here to tell you it is possible! I try and get up at 4:50am in the morning to get a little movement in but honestly most days I sleep in. I'm tired of trying to be perfect. What makes me happy is if I lived a day in moderation. One of my favorite quotes goes like this.
To insure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life." I find this quote to be inspiring! It has given me so much meaning in the days where I just want to be like you know what life sometimes you SUCK! When I think of this quote it reminds me of why I am here on this earth to achieve these key things in happiness.
One of my favorite authors is Mark Twain here are some inspiring quotes that have changed how I think:

'The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.'
-Mark Twain
“Opportunities don’t often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them.”
Audrey Hepburn
